A Little About Me

I’m Christina Turner, a designer and artist based in Akron, OH.

I earned my M.S. in User Experience Design from Kent State University. In addition to working at Bloomfire, a knowledge management platform built by an incredible team of talented people, I’m involved in discovery research for a National Science Foundation-funded regional information portal (more about that here & here.) I also serve on the Board of UX Akron.

I have extensive experience solving problems and moving projects forward in both physical and virtual spaces. I’ve created websites for galleries, artists, and passion projects. And I’ve developed a sense of how people move through a space & what encourages interaction through years of curating in galleries and placemaking in a public library setting.
